When you're only halfway up the lift hill and your heart is already racing and your palms are sweating, you know it's going to be a damn good roller coaster. But when your stomach lurches just from watching a first-person video of a roller coaster at your desk, you know it's going to be a goddam insane roller coaster. You'll experience exactly that thanks to a first-person video that puts you in the front row of Cedar Point's newest coaster. Hold on to you butts.
The new coaster, Valravn, only just opened to the public at the Sandusky, OH amusement park, and as you can see (but mostly hear) in the video above, it's already scaring the living crap out of people. Long noted for its insane coasters, Cedar Point claims the monstrous ride is the tallest, fastest, and longest dive coaster in the world. It towers 223ft high, hits a top speed of 75mph, and sends you screaming down a 90-degree angle drop. We have no idea what "Valravn" means, but we'll just assume it translates to something like "monstrous barf machine."
Watch at your own risk. But really, you might end up booking a trip to Sandusky this summer.
