With Halloween right around the corner (unless you're reading this late, sorry) one can't help but wonder about the origins of the costumes women, young and old alike, don in hopes of receiving candy and candy-as-a-metaphor-for-sex. When did everything become about sex? Well, a video recently posted by Mode.com quells that curiosity by showing what 100 years of Halloween costumes look like and just exactly when that sexy potato outfit came to be.
