If ever there were a purveyor of living room art, it was Bob Ross. And he's beloved for it. Thankfully, the afroed art instructor's YouTube channel is getting special attention right now, as it just uploaded his very first The Joy of Painting episode. It's the same Bob Ross you know and love. He just has glasses and a slightly less aggressive afro.

This guy, who made the artistically challenged and flat of hair feel like they could go above and beyond what was expected of them, explains the right brush to make "fantastic things happen," and then paints a wonderfully woodsy scene in his first television episode. Like always, he talks through his painting method so everyone can learn with him, then fall into a happy coma at the sound of his gentle encouragement. Would you ever believe this guy was in the military (allegedly)?

Feel encouraged to watch below. And remember, you can never make mistakes, because they're not mistakes. "They're birds now."
