By now, you've probably heard of at least one incident in which rabid Pokémon Go players have swarmed a public place in hopes of catching a rare Pokémon. But in addition to the chaotic mob scenes, players have also organized massive community meet-ups in several cities, like a recent event in Chicago the resulted in a giant Pokémon theme song singalong.
As seen in the video above, thousands of players who had gathered around the "Bean" at Chicago's Millennium Park sang the original theme song from the Pokémon cartoon show in unison, perhaps perfectly demonstrating the Pokémania that has gripped the world like a well-aimed Poké Ball. Ryan Harvey, the organizer behind the event on Facebook, said nearly 4,000 people attended, making it one of the largest Pokémon Go community events so far, according to a report by Tech Insider. No wonder the damn servers keep crashing.
