Woman, MMA fighter, and lover of pre-fight sex, Ronda Rousey has buddied up with Maxim for a relationship advice column called "Help Me, Ronda." Because that was a song back in the 60s, you see. Maxim readers wrote in and asked the lady pugilist a number of burning questions, ranging from the right clothing to wear on a first date, to -- how you say -- sexytime advice.
One particular answer left readers (like this one, for example) shaking their heads. In response to the question "What should a guy NEVER do in bed? What should a guy ALWAYS do in bed?" rough-and-tumble Rousey dropped this little nugget for readers:
"What should a guy always do? Take his time. In general, a girl takes a minute. He needs to get her ready. You should never need lube in your life. If you need lube, than you’re being lazy...and you’re not taking your time."
Wait, what? Using lube makes you lazy? Hey, not all women were designed to function like Niagara Falls during a hot summer day. Regardless of what my doctored diploma says [Ed. note: he does not have one of these], I'm not a gynecologist; but I do know for a fact using lube doesn't make you lazy. A lot of women use and need lube -- because Ronda -- a lot of women are different from you. Jesus, did a lube delivery truck run over your dog when you were a kid?
In fact, sometimes it's not even the woman who wants lube. I know plenty of dudes who use lube -- and not even for sex, just for fun! Plus, lubrication obviously reduces friction and can decrease the chance of contracting an STI. But hey, what do I know, I'm just a lazy fake-gynecologist.
