Here's Why Eating Corn on the Cob with a Drill Is a Horrible Idea

Few things are better than sinking your teeth into a plump corn on the cob in the seconds after dipping it in that giant vat of butter. And yet, it appears that people are choosing to take all of the joy out of eating corn on the cob -- by attaching it to a freaking power drill and maniacally running it against their teeth. Sure, you can clear a whole ear of corn in 10 seconds when done well, but when you're not careful, the results are... not great.

And by "not great," we mean freaking awful. That's perhaps the best way to describe what happened to a woman who attempted the so-called eating challenge, as seen in the video above. Just seconds after someone off-camera powers on the drill, her hair appears to get caught all up in the rapidly spinning corn cob. But before the drill operator is able to switch off the drill, a stomach-wrenching tug rips a giant patch of her hair cleanly out of her head. The video ends with the woman touching her new bald spot in disbelief, with little if any corn in her mouth to show for it. Again, it's freaking awful.

Of course, there's a chance the hair-ripping video is fake (and we really hope it is), but it should also serve as a warning for anyone who's even remotely tempted to eat corn or anything else for that matter with a freaking power tool. Ripping a giant chunk of your hair out is one thing, but just imagine what could happen to your teeth if you're not careful. After all, there's no number of video views worth jeopardizing your natural ability to bite into a big, buttery corn on the cob.

So, uh, don't try this at home, guys.
