The dream is real. That is, if "the dream" is to order a box of Tagalongs while sitting comfortably on the couch in your favorite tattered sweatpants. Just don't eat the cookies on the couch, cause crumbs.

The Girl Scouts just released Digital Cookie 2.0, an online ordering service accessible from a desktop or smartphone. But there is a catch, of course. You still have to know a Girl Scout to use it. What happens is, a scout will invite you to view her personal online page, where you can place your order and enter your payment info. Don't worry, it's not a Chris Hansen scene. It's just about cookies.

If you still prefer prefer trekking to the nearest strip mall, Girl Scouts will still be setting up booths to sell cookies as usual, so don't worry, weirdo. However, some scouts will be switching to the digital payment system even at the booths, just to make things easier.

Sadly, not all Girl Scout councils are using the digital platform yet. But, you can check and see if your local council is up with the high-tech trend here.

So, go ahead and order 35 boxes. And then 10 more.
