Crunchwraps and Cocktails: Taco Bell Cantina Opens in Las Vegas
Las Vegas partiers can now cut out the middleman and get their drinks at the same place as their favorite fourth meal. Look out, Sin City, Taco Bell’s boozy Cantina has arrived on the Strip.
The third location of Taco Bell’s 21-and-over concept opened this week, complete with a selection of beer, wine, sangria and boozy slushies called “Twisted Freezes.”
The slushie selection includes eight base flavors (Margarita, Cola, Piña Colada, Lemonade, Orange, Baja Blast, Cherry and Blue Raspberry), which can be customized with tequila, rum, vodka, whiskey or spiced rum. The Freezes can be ordered virgin if you’re only there for the chalupas.
The open-kitchen-concept Las Vegas location features digital menus, a dedicated space for DJ entertainment, outdoor misters and heaters and VIP lounges. Taco Bell launched its Cantina concept in Chicago last September and soon followed up with a San Francisco location. With two stories and an outdoor patio, the “flagship” Las Vegas outpost, as they are calling it, is the largest Catina yet. Taco Bell plans to expand their Cantinas to Atlanta, New York and other major U.S. cities over the coming years.
