Tom Cruise Relives “Cocktail” Days With James Corden

Tom Cruise has still got it. The actor hasn’t lost his flair for bartending flair, as evidenced by his recent appearance on The Late Late Show with James Corden, in which he (briefly) reprised his role in our favorite ‘80s bartending movie: Cocktail.

As part of the show’s popular “Role Call” segment, Cruise reenacted famous scenes from his extensive film career with Corden, from Top Gun to War of the Worlds to the aforementioned Cocktail, in a single nine minute take.

The three-time Academy Award nominee follows in the footsteps of other major celebrities who have participated in the segment in the past, like Tom Hanks, Matt Damon and Arnold Schwarzenegger. But since Cruise’s career includes swinging booze around the air, we have to say, this one is our favorite.

Watch Cruise and Corden flip bottles back and forth while singing “Hippie Hippie Shake” (at around the six-minute mark), and see how it compares to his former glory days.
