Grown-up duds from a Tendernob streetwear mainstay

Like it or not, eventually everyone has to grow up, except, of course, Peter Pan. And that dude from Willow. And Toys R Us Kids, if they had their way. Sadly recognizing that they're not one of those three, INVS, with a mature collection called Mr.Tendernob streetwear purveyor INVS's skewing decidedly older with Mr., an all-growns-up line of head-to-toe duds in muted summery tones, the first installment of which -- dropping right now -- manages a steez that's preppy-yet-street, i.e., Will and Carlton's love child. It begins with a set of sheer cotton, two-button henley tees (that're unbranded and come white, orange, navy, grey, etc.), which you can wear under loose-fitting, brick or light blue short-sleeved Oxfords -- the sight of which might prompt a Cambridge man to say... nothing, because that'd be impolite. Other choice collection pieces include lightweight zip-up hoodies in super fine red/black/blue stripes (with elastic waist bands and button cuffs to keep your sleeves rolled up), and long, cutoff-style seersucker shorts embroidered with little anchors -- though when it comes to having someone take them off, the schooner the better. Not part of Summer per se, but available in the Mr. e-store is the black Varsity jacket with gold quilted lining, a wool body, and textured leather arms -- something you get when you grow up, unless you Never Never Tan.
