Directed by whimsical visionary Tim Burton and starring Johnny Depp, Sweeney Todd's the highly-stylized, musical tale of Benjamin Barker, an honest man who gets rudely banished from England. He returns as a barber to pay back his enemies with a straight razor -- and Depp-defying vocals. The all-star cast includes: master villain Alan Rickman as the Judge, Helena Bonham Carter as the love-struck meat-pie vendor, and Sacha Baron Cohen as Barker's colorful nemesis, Signor Adolfo Pirelli. The whole dizzying vision is adapted from the stage production by Stephen Sondheim, the only man to ever win an Academy Award ®, Tony Award ®, Emmy ®, Grammy ®, and the Pulitzer Prize -- credentials that excuse a man for never taking home Employee of the Month ®.
