Unless it terminates in a roaring animal head, there are few furnishings duller than floor coverings. Now you can skip the pelts, with By Henzel Rugs.
Unable to find carpet to match his meatballs, Swedish designer Calle Henzel crafted a frame-worthy rug featuring the stark black outline of a straight razor on a white wool background. He's since expanded his 100% New Zealand wool oeuvres, which range from the record cover-inspired, to the Warhol-esque -- like the "Monkey Business", which'll convey your minimalist tastes and your desire to live with a dozen dirty apes. Of even greater relevance: a one-panel story, sharing the tale of a stripper with a heart of gold CPRing a dying john (presumably at the cost of $20 per song).
The rugs come as rectangles, squares, even crosses, plus you can order bespoke mats to the size, shape, color, and design of your choice -- though once you get the price, the only floored, roaring animal may be you.
