Do you believe in magic? Not the kind found in a young girl’s heart, but the kind that transmogrifies an iconic shirt into a fragrance collection that wafts straight from the heart of manliness? Yes? Then scope the clip above to witness the creation of Eau de Lacoste L.12.12.
Lacoste's first-ever male fragrance collection will be available exclusively at Bloomingdale's 59th Street location for its Aug 22nd pre-launch, followed by national availability in October, which will from then on be referred to as "Croctober". Inspired by the chic simplicity of René Lacoste’s original polo shirt design, the fragrance comes in three scents: Blanc (pure, crisp), Vert (casual, relaxed), and Bleu: a powerful, aquatic scent crafted with notes of patchouli and oak moss (Oakland moss having given off a somewhat distasteful scent, though part of that was the quarterback's fault).
Watch the video above, not just because you love classic beats, but because you love fragrances inspired by a classic shirt. Then get more Eau de Lacoste L.12.12 info here, and head to Bloomingdale's to experience the collection yourself.
