There's been a lot of talk of resurgence lately, but also a lot of confusion about what exactly we're supposed to be resurge-ing to. As part of an ongoing effort to support and rebuild the town of Braddock, PA, Levi's® will throw a series of benefit concerts (Nov 10th, 11th, and 12th) with all proceeds going to Braddock's continued efforts to reinvigorate itself, and a vital piece of America along with it.
The events are being held in the first library built by Andrew Carnegie (he went on to fund a few more -- 1,679 to be exact). Being able to host shows in the library stands as a proud testament to the rebuilding efforts, as the once dilapidated structure was a centerpiece of the initial revitalization efforts that Levi’s® undertook with Braddock back in 2010.
Can’t make it to Braddock? You can still participate by tuning into the live stream of the concerts on each night at 8p EST, available at Levi.com/BenefitBraddock. Ticket sales from the event will be tripled by a contribution from Levi's® and the brand hopes the series will act as a catalyst, sparking others to look back on what was, and rebuild it into whatever it might become.
