Channeling the rustic comfort only hanging ham legs can provide, this Fitzrovia operation is wholly dedicated to Italy's PDO (Protected Designation of Origin) foodstuffs, mainly reams of delicious meat, cheese, and wine. Charcuterie (salamis, culatello, capocollo, etc.) is all intended to be eaten by hand, cheese (Grana Padano, Pecorino, Castelmagno...) comes in self-slicing hunks, and vinos (d’Abruzzos, Bardolinos, a very nice Lambrusco) are all served in a bowl, in honour of the Italian tradition, not the Glaswegian one involving no more clean glasses.
