Mizumi

Las Vegas
Sushi Restaurant
$$$$

Chef Devin Hashimoto has taken his knowledge about modern Japanese cuisine and given a classier crowd of Vegas-dwellers something to write home about. The place glitters with a dramatic gold and red interior (you're in Vegas, after all) and your taste buds will freak out with just one mouthful of sushi. Just stay away from the koi pond after your eighth cocktail.

The place almost seems custom-designed for those eager to impress. Between the food and the dining room, Mizumi is a spectacular experience of Japanese-inspired fine dining. Sit alongside a koi pond and 90-foot waterfall while feasting on fresh-sliced toro and charcoal-grilled lobster. Crowd around a teppanyaki grill if that's your thing, but the most exclusive seats are on the patio, especially the floating pagoda table for two, which usually requires a reservation made well in advance. Since you're already going big, spend a few extra dollars on the steaks. Mizumi was one of the first in Vegas to carry true, certified Kobe beef, and the selection of Japanese cuts has only gotten better and more varied over time under the direction of executive chef Min Kim.
How to book: Book reservations via SevenRooms or by calling 702-770-3320.

The dining room at Mizumi, an exquisite Japanese seafood restaurant at the Wynn, is easily one of the most beautiful in Vegas, with an open-air view looking out over private Japanese gardens that surround a koi pond with its own 90-foot waterfall. Sit out on the patio to be surrounded by the lush landscaping, or, for a truly exceptional, one-of-a-kind dining experience, opt for chef’s Min Kim’s omakase menu at the floating pagoda table, located at the end of a long dock right next to the waterfall.
How to book: Reservations can be made online.

The Wynn's upscale Japanese restaurant is a stunning environment of vibrant colors with an outdoor garden, waterfall and koi pond. Ask for a private table in the middle of the water for an extra-romantic experience. Executive chef Min Kim did such a good job running Mizumi at Wynn Palace in Macau, he was brought in to run the Vegas original in 2020. The menu is better than ever with wild snapper and bluefin tuna from Japan, toothfish from Chile, and red-spotted prawns from the California coast. Mizumi was one of the very first restaurants in Las Vegas to serve authentic, certified Kobe beef, which is thoroughly enjoyed in thin slices, seared at the table with a hot Himalayan salt block.
How to order: Head online or call 702-770-3320 to book a reservation.
