After the hullabaloo surrounding the swanky St. Roch Market’s opening -- lots of cool high-end fare, fewer affordable fresh options for neighborhood locals "makin’ groceries" -- you’d imagine that the recently revamped Dryades Public Market would share a similar backlash. Well, it hasn’t, and we’re happy about that. Not only do they offer farm-fresh, seasonal produce and proteins, eat-in options abound as well, all at an affordable price-point. And, in addition to the food and drink, you’ll find cool programming, to boot, from "Oysters 101" to happy hours, and the awesomely named "Grill and Chill" sessions.
