Oh Say Can You Tees

While most people rep the 215 via t-shirts emblazoned with our professional sports franchises, doesn't it make more sense to honor those establishments whose unwholesome food and unwholesomer booze have ensured the aforementioned shirts are stretched to unreadability? Proudly flaunt your lifestyle, with Oh Say Can You Tees.

A pet project from the owner of South Street's Agent Aloha, OSCYT offers up tee designs honoring Philly staples -- mainly bars and food joints, plus some shops -- each presented alongside a photo in order to trigger all the memories/loss-of-memories. Glorious dives include a green McGlinchey's number sporting that smoky enclave's welcoming sign, a brown Bob and Barbara's w/ pimped-out PBR Caddy, and a red-on-black Ray's Happy Birthday Bar boasting "No Riff-Raff" (clearly a motto, not a policy). As for grub, there's the obligatory Jim's Steaks logo tee, three Reading Terminal Market dwellers (DiNic's, Flying Monkey, Franks-A-Lot), and a red-white-and-blue Geno's logo tee stating another timeless mantra, Joey Vento's "I'm an American so I order in English" -- because "Whiz wit'" is definitely in Webster's.

All shirts are $22 (shipping's free), and a percentage of all gross proceeds are donated to retailer-determined non-profit ventures, some of which might provide assistance to the results of your stubbornly refusing to visit another OSCYT-repped Philly staple, Condom Kingdom.
