Serial bar-opener gets his rock on

Even when you're the best at your core discipline, you've got to vary things up -- Seagal is always kicking ass, but sometimes it's because vengeance must be taken, sometimes because the environment needs saving, and sometimes because it's 4:45. For a bar master whose best pitch is the change-up, hit Eleven.

After nailing craft beer with Hamilton's and conquering the cocktail with Small Bar, Eleven's avid-musician owner has revamped the former Radio Room, starting by dramatically upgrading the bar and adding a 2nd, floating one (both inlaid with miniaturized music posters from the Black Crowes to Buffalo Springfield), plus throwing up music-themed collages, and bedecking the stage with red velvet, blue being a depressing reminder that these days, Kyle MacLachlan is the creepy old psychopath. Entertainment'll come from the house band, locals, and special shows paired with events, plus a downtime classic-rocking jukebox (a la Hamilton's), pool, and Big Game Hunter & Golden Tee, where you can hunt the biggest game of all, Craig "The Walrus" Stadler. Because beer matters, there are 15 by the bottle/can (from Old German to Framboise), and a circular, keg-esque tap system pouring out 17 varieties ranging from their signature lager "11" (brewed locally by Gordon Biersch), to Delirium Tremens, to Bear Republic's "Big Bear Black", named for that time Rob Dyrdek's ex-bodyguard wore an open leather vest.

As for economics, they're running a nightly happy-eternity from 3-8PM, with discounted drafts and cocktails, plus free grub like jambalaya, gumbo, and chili -- different iterations of ass-kickingly spicy food, any of which could leave you with Fire Down Below.
