1. La Trappe 800 Greenwich St, San Francisco, CA 94133 (North Beach)

With dishes like roti de porc a l’ardennais and stewed leg of rabbit, this Belgian restaurant offers food to rival many of the city's best fine dining experiences. What truly puts it over-the-top, though, is its draft list, which focuses on Belgian style brews both stateside and abroad. If you're stopping in La Trappe for a group hang, rather than an intimate date, the menu's casual side (Belgian fries and hamburgers) will also please.
