Omar Vizquel's Art Show

The shortstop/Renaissance man got a solo show for his surprisingly accomplished figurative and abstract oils, highlighted by "Sushi Time" (a hunched man hauling grotesque eels), "John Paul" (the late Pope chillin' w/ a crucifix), and Omar's best Picasso imitation, "Despair", an intricately twisting mess of limbs and head -- combine that with his ladylike batting average, and you could say he's in a Blue Period.
