When Ducati teased the Hypermotard bike concept back in 2006, the world noticed. They noticed so hard that it caused the entirety of Ducati's online presence to crumble under the collective weight of riders desperate for a taste. The bike was lauded by all as a nearly perfect balance of weight to power, of comfort to maneuverability, and of badassery to practicality. For all concerned parties: it was the perfect city bike. There was only one problem though. It was so good that people wanted more. They wanted a version they could drive across country, and they wouldn't shut up about it. Luckily, Ducati listened, giving us the 2013 Ducati Hyperstrada.

The Hyperstrada beautifully incorporates all of the get-up-and-go functionality of the Hypermotard, but takes the ride height up a few inches, slaps on a windshield, ABS brakes, side bags, and a slue of ergonomic tweaks to deliver a package that feels just as home in a twisty curve as it does on Rte 66. All for less than a used Prius.
