The carbon fiber concept car that only a mother could love

The AeroSeven concept car is made almost entirely out of super lightweight carbon fiber, which completely compensates for the fact that the 2.0-liter engine is stolen from a Ford Focus. What does this mean? The two seater will get you from 0 to 60 in well under four seconds, smoking almost every Porsche on the road at a fraction of the cost.

Due to launch in fall 2014, the AeroSeven is the latest in a long line of bizarre little cars from Caterham, a teeny-tiny manufacturer based in an even smaller town just outside of London.

Warning: Do not tell your girlfriend about how the interior was modeled after a Formula 1 car. She will already be furious at the fact that she needs to wear a helmet just to drive around town. No need to fuel the fire here.

With every mark in the world against it (this is literally a car with no roof built in the rainiest nation on the planet) you can't help but kinda sorta love this weird little car. Keep up the strange work, Caterham.
