Road trips let you and your friends pile into a car and head off for the time of your lives, as long as you've got DJ Qualls handy to take care of the super-fat chick. Using insight gained on one to craft some sweet street clothes is BreakawayINK Apparel.
Out of Downingtown by way of West Chester, Breakaway's an apparel line from a WCU alum who, inspired by a shirt he bought on a trip to Canada, began crafting tees to sell at his college homecoming, a venture that sounds almost as exciting as Canada. Crazy-soft cotton tees include community nods like Dub-C (WC's nickname ported to the Cubs' logo), Check Your Vision (a graffiti-lettered eyechart), and the two Liberty Bell-decked jawns called Realadelphia, which is what happens when Philadelphians stop being polite and start being...oh wait, they were never polite. Further fun includes Armed (an olive drab tee with an Army-look insignia and star), Illies (a white Phillies script logo sans the "Ph" on a red long-sleeve job), and the old-school-mic-picturing Microphone Fiend, for Breakaway demands being Paid In Full.
Future additions include some front-zip hoodies and a few fresh tees, and the current line is rounded out by a military cap that's beaten up, so you can look the part when you enlist to avoid any further DJ Qualls vehicles.
