The Cantina at Distrito

Monday marks the debut of the Cantina on the first floor of Iron Chef-bound Jose Garces's University City outpost, delivering a full menu of signature Mexican plates topping out at a paltry ten clams, including meat-/seafood-stuffed quesadillas; chicken and lump crab enchiladas; and tacos packed with adobo chicken, carne asada & pulled pork. Imbibables include $2 Tecates, $3 margaritas, and a bevy of $6-and-under cocktails, like the grape vodka & lime Evil Ways, and the Maria Maria, whose mix of vodka, tequila & amaretto already has you seeing double.
