Boozy Apple Float

This booze-infused float sets itself apart by swapping out traditional vanilla ice cream for sweet-tart apple sorbet. Continuing with the autumnal fruit theme, Sarah Osborn of Sardella in St. Louis tops the sorbet with a shot of apple brandy and two shots of ultra-floral elderflower liqueur, which adds brightness, contrast and depth.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 oz apple brandy
  • 2 oz elderflower liqueur
  • 2 scoops apple sorbet

INSTRUCTIONS

Step one

Add apple sorbet to a rocks glass.

Step two

In a mixing glass, stir brandy and liqueur with ice.

Step three

Strain the cocktail over the apple sorbet in the rocks glass.
