Black Pepper Syrup

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 Cup Sugar
  • 1 Cup Water
  • .5 Cup Black peppercorns

INSTRUCTIONS

Step one

Place sugar, water and peppercorns in a small pot and bring to a boil, stirring once or twice.

Step two

Once sugar has dissolved, remove from heat and let cool.

Step three

Leave the peppercorns in the syrup to lend it a stronger flavor; strain them out when it is spiced to taste. Chill.
