Boozy Peppermint Hot Chocolate
- 2 oz peppermint schnapps
- 2 tbsp cocoa
- 4 oz milk
- 1.5 tbsp sugar
- Peppermint whipped cream
- 5-6 candy canes, crushed, for garnish
Place wax paper over candy canes and crush with a mallet, then set aside.
Add milk, cocoa and sugar to a saucepan over medium heat.
Stir until cocoa and sugar are dissolved, and mixture is warm. Do not let it simmer.
Add peppermint schnapps to a mug, and top with hot cocoa.
Garnish with peppermint whipped cream, and sprinkle with crushed candy canes.
