RECIPE

Bulleit Bay Hot Toddy

Inspired by the old-school version of the toddy—which frequently used tea as the spice element—this easy variation features standard black tea and adds bay leaf, that unsung hero of stews, sauces, and soups. Here, it brings subtle, tea-friendly notes like mint, thyme, and clove that play well with both the tart fresh lemon juice and Bulleit Bourbon’s orchestra of peppery spice, caramel, and cinnamon flavors. If you take your tea or coffee straight, this is the toddy for you. If you don’t, add honey to sweeten to your personal preference.
