The Wild Daughter

Matthew Kelly / Supercall

“Watermelon is the true sign of summer,” Jason Mendenhall of The Wild Son says. We couldn’t agree more, especially when it’s whipped into a cocktail that’s as light and refreshing as this one. “The Wild Daughter covers all angles for a summer drink—it's airy, contains fresh, seasonal market ingredients, and has a nice acidity on the nose that brightens the cocktail.” We suggest grilling up a few lime wheels to use as garnishes at your next summer barbecue before serving this drink alongside jerk chicken and other spicy fare.
