Cool as a Cucumber

Call this the English spin on G & J, with fresh cucumber and lime juices, a splash of sweetness, and fragrant mint garnish. Refined, tasty, and crisp. They could serve it at Buckingham Palace.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1.5 oz Tanqueray No. TEN
  • 1 oz Fresh Cucumber Juice
  • .5 oz Simple Syrup
  • Mint
  • .75 oz Fresh lime Juice

INSTRUCTIONS

Step one

Combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice.

Step two

Shake, and strain into a coupe glass. Serve up.

Step three

Garnish with mint leaf.

Step four

To make fresh cucumber juice, you can either peel and juice the cucumber in an automatic juicer, or you can grate the cucumber and squeeze it with cheesecloth or paper towel to extract juice.
