From Harry Craddock’s The Savoy Cocktail Book, this aperitif is made with dry, nutty fino sherry, sweet cherry-flavored maraschino liqueur and dry vermouth. Finished with orange bitters and a lemon twist, this classic tipple is aromatic and warming.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1.5 oz Fino Sherry
  • 1.5 oz Dry Vermouth
  • .25 oz Maraschino Liqueur
  • 2 Orange Bitters
  • Lemon twist

INSTRUCTIONS

Step one

Add all ingredients save for the garnish to a mixing glass with ice.

Step two

Stir with a bar spoon and strain into a chilled coupe glass using a Julep strainer.
