Cucumber Cooler

Cooling aloe syrup gets a soothing helping hand from cucumber juice in this extra-refreshing take on a Gin & Tonic. The syrup is made with pineapple and aloe water (readily available at any health food store or Asian market), which gives the drink a tropical kick. It’s a day on the beach (and the cure for a day on the beach) in one great cocktail.

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 oz gin
  • .75 oz cucumber juice
  • .75 oz pineapple syrup
  • .5 oz lime juice
  • Tonic water
  • Lime butterfly

INSTRUCTIONS

Step one

Add all ingredients to a shaker except tonic water and garnish.

Step two

Fill with ice, shake and strain into a highball glass filled with fresh ice.

Step three

Top with tonic water and garnish with a lime butterfly.
