This tongue-in-cheek, dessert-like shot, which tastes a bit like butterscotch, has been spotted around bars in Portland lately. It’s rich, nutty, and served room temperature. “I'm from Texas,” notes Carlton Dunlap of Americano. “Whenever someone would ask how we wanted our tequila, our response would be ‘hot and nekid (naked).’ Not chilled, no salt, no lime. Same applies here.”
- .75 oz Jameson Irish Whiskey
- .75 oz Frangelico
Add whiskey and Frangelico to a shot glass. Drink.
