Kona Swizzle

If you need a hit of joe to get your day going, consider this simple three-ingredient cocktail. Spiked with cold brew coffee and spiced rum, the drink gets its tiki cred from a splash of orgeat, an almond syrup that also includes a touch of orange blossom water.

Kona Swizzle



  • 1 oz spiced rum
  • 2 oz cold brew coffee
  • .5 oz orgeat
  • Flamed orange twist


Step one

Add all ingredients except for the garnish to a highball glass.

Step two

Fill the glass halfway with crushed ice.

Step three

Use a swizzle stick to mix the ingredients.

Step four

Fill the remainder of the glass with crushed ice and swizzle once more.

Step five

Garnish with a flamed orange twist.
