A spritzy take on a Mai Tai, this cocktail from Missouri’s The Golden Girl Rum Club is the perfect tiki drink for beer lovers. “Orgeat, falernum and passion fruit are a trinity of tiki heavy hitters,” says Rogan Howitt, co-owner of GGRC. “Dry herbal components from the gin can surprise tiki newcomers who were expecting a sweet, sugary spirit as their base.” His favorite component of the cocktail is the beer—Miller High Life, of course. “It lengthens and carbonates, and offers familiarity as well,” he says.
Add all ingredients except for High Life, bitters and garnishes to a tall glass. Top with crushed ice.
Top off with High Life, chug the remaining beer.
Swizzle to incorporate, add bitters and top with more ice.
