Fly High With A Jungle Bird Cocktail This Weekend
Come fly away with Craft and Cocktail's Jungle Bird cocktail. Mix up dark rum, Campari, pineapple juice, and orange simple syrup for an easy-to-make, yet super impressive-looking drink that'll lift you off the ground.
Jungle Bird Cocktail
- 1 1/2 oz dark rum
- 1/2 oz Campari
- 1 1/2 oz pineapple juice
- 1/2 oz lime juice
- 1/2 oz orange peel syrup:
- peels of 1 orange
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup water
- In a saucepan, bring water and sugar to a boil. Add orange peels to the mixture and bring to a boil again. Reduce the heat to low for 10 minutes. Remove the syrup from heat and allow to cool entirely. Strain the orange peels.
- Add all ingredients into a shaker filled with ice except for sliced pineapple. Shake vigorously.
- Strain the cocktail into a glass filled with ice. Garnish with pineapple.
