Drinking Spiked Pumpkin Pie Beats Eating It, Every Time

Pumpkin season is almost over, we promise. But you'd be doing yourself a real disservice if you let it pass by without experiencing some pumpkin pie in drinkable cocktail form. Ditch the dough crust, grab a pumpkin, hollow the sucker out, fill it with various pumpkin-y, boozy components, and look at that: You've got a pumpkin pie in a glass, courtesy of Drinks Made Easy. Yes, the glass is actually a pumpkin. Don't think about it too hard, just see how it's done. 

Liquid Pumpkin Pie

INGREDIENTS:
  • 2 ounces Kahlúa Pumpkin Spice
  • 1 ounce hazelnut liqueur (Frangelico)
  • 3 ounces heavy cream
  • 1 ounce pumpkin purée
  • ¼ teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
DIRECTIONS:
  • Cut the top off of a small pumpkin and clean it out.
  • Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Cover, shake vigorously, and strain into the pumpkin. Serve.
