Spiced Apple Toddy

Yield: 1 cocktail


  • 1½  ounces bourbon
  • 1 ounce ginger liqueur
  • ½ ounce apple cider
  • ½ ounce lemon juice
  • 4 ounces hot apple spice tea
  • 2-3 pinches cinnamon-sugar
  • 1 apple, sliced


  • First, prepare the apple garnish. Sprinkle an apple slice with cinnamon-sugar, and use a culinary torch to caramelize it until brûléed. Set aside.
  • Brew the spiced apple tea.
  • In a heat-proof cocktail glass or mug, layer the bourbon, ginger liqueur, apple cider, lemon juice, and hot spiced apple tea. Stir, and garnish with a skewered brûléed apple. Serve immediately.
