Glaze Your Wings with Sriracha, Honey Bourbon, or Spicy Cherry Sauce

Glazed Wings Three Ways

INGREDIENTS:
  • Honey Bourbon Glaze:
  • 3/4 cup bourbon
  • 3/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 tbs pickling spice 
  • salt to taste
 
  • Sriracha:
  • 1/4 cup Sriracha Sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tbs soy sauce
  • 1 tbs corn starch
  • juice from one lime
 
  • Spicy Cherry Glaze:
  • 1 cup cherry preserves
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 2 tbs chipotle sauce
  • 1 tbs apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tbs soy sauce
  • 1 tbs Worcestershire sauce
DIRECTIONS:
  • To cook the chicken wings, bring grill up to 350ºF using indirect heat. Place wings on the indirect side and cook until golden brown. Separate the wings into thirds and toss each group into a different sauce.
  • Place wings back on the indirect side and cook until sauce has tightened up and is sticky. Interior temp of the wings should be 165ºF.
  • To make the honey bourbon glaze, mix together the ingredients, bring to a boil, and reduce until it thickens.
  • To make the Sriracha glaze, mix together ingredients, bring to a boil, and reduce until smooth.
  • To make the spicy cherry glaze, mix together ingredients, bring to a boil, and reduce.
