The Last Word


  • 1 oz gin
  • 1 oz Luxardo liqueur
  • 3/4 oz green Chartreuse
  • 2 oz absinthe
  • 1 oz fresh lime juice
  • Luxardo cherry for garnish


  • In a glass, pour about 2 ounces of absinthe. Place an absinthe spoon and sugar cube over the glass. Very slowly, using a squeeze bottle, drip water over the sugar cube and allow sugar to slowly drip into absinthe. When sugar has fully dissolved, remove the spoon and set the absinthe aside.
  • Place the gin, Luxardo liqueur, green Chartreuse, ¼ oz. absinthe, and lime juice into an ice-filled shaker. Shake vigorously. Strain into glass and garnish with a Luxardo cherry.
