Spend some time in Mexico, and you’ll soon discover that the Paloma, not the Margarita, is the country’s drink of choice. Traditionally mixed with reposado tequila, fresh lime juice, grapefruit soda, and a pinch of salt, the Paloma is crisp and refreshing-tasting. In other words, the perfect liquid response to Mexico’s roasty summer heat. This variation stars Don Julio Blanco Tequila, fresh grapefruit juice, fresh lemon juice, and sparkling rosé to top. Elegant and elevated.
- 1.5 oz Don Julio Blanco Tequila
- .5 oz fresh grapefruit juice
- .5 oz fresh lemon juice
- .5 oz agave nectar
- sparkling rosé, to top
- rose petal, for garnish
Add Don Julio Blanco Tequila, grapefruit juice, lemon juice, and agave nectar to a shaker with ice. Shake to combine.
Strain into a Coupe glass, and top with sparkling rosé.
Garnish with rose petal.
