Brain Hemorrhage Jello Shots

Matthew Kelly/Supercall

Looking as if they’ve been freshly plucked from an old apothecary jar, these squishy brains are sure to disturb and delight. Made with the same ingredients as the classic Brain Hemorrhage shot—vodka, peach schnapps, Baileys Irish Cream and grenadine—these creepy Jello Shots also include some sweetened condensed milk for extra creaminess and grenadine “blood” for maximum gross-out potential.

Note: If you don’t already have one (we’re not sure why you would), you’ll need to purchase a couple of silicone brain molds (two molds make eight shots) to make these.

INGREDIENTS

  • 5 oz Vodka
  • 3 packets unflavored gelatin
  • 1.5 cups Boiling Water
  • 5 oz Peach Schnapps
  • 5 oz Baileys
  • 1 14-oz can condensed milk
  • grenadine
  • spray

INSTRUCTIONS

Step one

Lightly spray the inside of the molds with cooking spray.

Step two

Add vodka to a bowl and sprinkle with gelatin. Let sit for about 2 minutes.

Step three

Add boiling water and stir constantly until completely dissolved.

Step four

Add peach schnapps, Baileys and condensed milk, and stir.

Step five

Pour the mixture into the molds. Let set for 4-6 hours or overnight.

Step six

Remove shots from molds and place on serving platter. Using a pipette, add grenadine to crevices of the brains to look like blood. You can also pour grenadine on the serving platter to look like a pool of blood.
