Red and Green Christmas Sangria

Matthew Kelly / Supercall

It doesn’t matter what the occasion is. Sangria is always the answer. Easy to make in big batches and beloved by pretty much everyone, the wine-based punch is also easy to adapt for any season. This version is chock-full of festive red and green fruits, and spiced with cinnamon syrup, for a drink that tastes just like the holidays. Garnished with aromatic (and Christmas tree-like) rosemary sprigs, it’s good enough to convince Santa to kick back and stay awhile.

  • 1 750-ml bottle of Red Wine
  • .25 brandy
  • .25 Cinnamon syrup
  • blood orange, sliced blood orange
  • 1 apple
  • 1 cranberries
  • Rosemary sprigs

Step one

Add all ingredients save for the rosemary sprigs to a pitcher and stir.

Step two

Let sit for at least an hour, preferably overnight.

Step three

To serve, pour into wine glasses filled with ice and garnish with rosemary sprigs.
