Shiso-Steeped Simple Syrup

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 Cup granulated sugar
  • 1 handful Shiso leaves
  • 1 Cup water

INSTRUCTIONS

Step one

Add sugar and water to a pot and bring to a boil.

Step two

Remove the pot from the heat and throw in a handful of shiso leaves. Let steep for 10 to 15 minutes.
