Black Pearl

This classic tiki drink gets its black heart―and color―from Fernet-Branca, a dark, bitter Italian amaro. It also has dark rum, fresh lime juice and orgeat, which provides a nutty sweetness that softens Fernet-Branca’s menthol flavors. Both herbal and refreshing, it’s a wonderful drink for cold weather when you get tired of drinking whiskey and Cognac. And while it’s rich enough to cure the cold, it’ll also give you a taste of warmer days to come.
