The vodka in your classic Sex on the Beach doesn’t exactly complement the peach schnapps and fruit juice—it’s mostly there to give the cocktail a strong, boozy kick. So Milagro brand ambassador Jaime Salas decided to swap out the neutral spirit for something that would actually add some flavor to the cocktail while still melding with the other ingredients: tequila. Salas blends blanco tequila with a mélange of fruit juices, peach schnapps and, in an unconventional twist, hibiscus tea, for a fruity, sweet and slightly drier variation on the colorful cocktail.
