Christmas Pudding

Tim Harris, owner of the Manhattan Cricket Club, loves making mulled wine during the holidays. Not only is it a warming drink on its own, but it’s also a great seasonal substitute for vermouth in cocktails. While classic mulled red wine is the perfect way to put a festive spin on a Manhattan, Harris’s yuletide take on the Martini calls for a mulled white wine that’s made with the same spices as Christmas pudding. Harris recommends using a London Dry Gin that’s heavy on the juniper to fill the cocktail with the seasonal aroma of pine needles.
