Here's a list of non-Bolts bars, compiled in a sincere effort to separate home and away fans, and thus prevent any stupid pre-game assault charges, which the actual Chargers have more than covered.
Watch the Jets
plummet from the sky soar!: Henry's Pub 618 5th Ave; Gaslamp Quarter; 619.238.2389 If your allegiance still lies with LT, hit this dive for game-day raffles, an entire Jets devoted menu (like the butter'd kaiser roll "Commuter"), half priced apps, $3 wells & drafts, $5 raspberry vodka "Jet Juice" shots, and the vodka/gin/triple sec/rum/melon/OJ "L-Tea", though not the Cromar-Tea, because you couldn't afford it anyway. Click here, find the pub, and root for our exiled hero
The Browns-est bar ever: La Jolla Brew House 7536 Fay Ave; La Jolla; 858.456.6279 Their Ohio-born owner's built a semi-private Browns' den with six flats & a projection screen, and a back bar serving $10 domestic/house-brew pitchers and $4 bloodies/mimosa's, perfect for daintily sipping now that Quinn's no longer around to bring the sham-pain. Other Jersey's are not encouraged in the Brown's room, but check out how much room there is for everyone(!) at LaJollaBrewHouse.com
Watch the Redskins take some scalps: Winston's Beach Club 1921 Bacon St; Ocean Beach; 619.222.6822 Owned by two DC-natives, this concert venue gets Skins-y with huge HD projection screens, sound pumped through the concert PA system for stadium authenticity, and District-originated "Go-go" music played during commercials. They're also rocking raffles and $2 Redskin shots (various concoctions which are always red), which you'll have to Mc-Nab in the brief window before they go bad.
