Tucked away up a flight of stairs inside a new boutique hotel, Burritt Room's outfitted with a small, semi-private parlor, plus vintage couches and a long wooden bar lit by classic crystal chandeliers and backed by exposed brick. An ex B&B bartender's designed 18 specialty cocktails that range from the Smoked Peach (sherry, scotch, lemon, honey, and muddled peaches), to the Shibuya Scramble (absinthe n' gin with hints of shiso and green tea), to the Critical Mass -- a rye number spiked with aperol, punt y mes, green chartreuse, benedictine, and the proclivity to hold up traffic in the name of...something.
